One Step Closer

I just took my handsome husband to the airport, equipped with a new suit and a spare.  He's off to Shanghai for 2 weeks and was supposed to be attending a workshop, but it was postponed on Friday to January.  No worries, though...he has bigger things to do.  On Tuesday, he'll have the first of his two final interviews for the position of Director of Electrification for PATAC (Pan Asian Technical Automotive Center), a joint venture between GM and SAIC, a Chinese company.
We see this as a formality, since he's the only one being sent for these interviews, but the culmination of this will finally allow me to shout from the roof...and FB, what exciting things are happening around here for us.

I'm finding some great resources, and soaking in any information that I can find.  I'll be there, myself, in 6 days to do the house and school hunt, and maybe my heart will rest a little easier once I have an idea what's in store.

Meanwhile, I've removed all religious and political affiliations from my FB page...not wanting to bring any attention to myself...are there really people specifically assigned to keep track of what I do and say?

Good question, but I'd just as soon NOT find out.  Thank you very much.
